Routine maintenance and care for embossing machines is crucial to extending their lifespan and improving operating efficiency. The following are some specific maintenance and care measures:
Regular Cleaning
- Vibration Box: For metal embossing machines, the vibration box is a sealed device and requires special protection to prevent dust from entering. Clean the vibration box regularly to ensure it is completely clean. Check the current indicator to ensure it does not exceed the rated value to prevent circuit burnout.
- Machine: Carefully blow away any dust from the machine using dry compressed air. However, be sure to turn off the main power when cleaning to prevent accidental electric shock or damage to electronic components.
Lubrication and Inspection
- Transmission Equipment: For embossing machines that are frequently used, the transmission sprocket may become stuck. In this case, lubrication is required. The internal gears of the gear train are pre-greased at the factory and generally do not require additional lubrication.
- Column Shaft and Guide Bracket: Check the lubrication between the column shaft and guide bracket and add oil regularly to maintain good lubrication.
- Brake System: Regularly inspect the brake system, especially the brake pads for wear, to ensure the machine can safely stop.
Electrical System Maintenance
- Water Filter: For equipment involving water circulation, such as leather embossing machines, regularly clean the water filter to prevent clogging and ensure smooth water flow.
- Power Supply and Circuits: Check the power cord and circuits for integrity to avoid short circuits or open circuits. During high-frequency output, check for disconnection of the main power supply or a blown fuse. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues promptly.
